KOVO (Korea Volleyball Federation) announced on the 20th, “Leo of OK Financial Group and Kim Da-in of Hyundai Engineering & Construction were selected as the fourth round MVP of Dodram 2023-2024 V-League.”
Leo, who won 27 votes from the men’s press corps (2 votes for Yosbani, 1 vote for Park Chul-woo and Kim Myung-kwan), led OK Financial Group to win the fourth round by winning 201 points, 62.02% of the attack success rate, and 0.65 serves per set.
Leo won his eighth career round MVP award, solidifying his position as the No. 1 player in round MVP history. Leo moved to OK Financial Group after winning MVP awards in the first, fifth, 2013-2014 first, fifth, and second rounds in 2014-2013 when he was with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and won MVP awards in the fifth round of 2021-2022, third round of 2022-2023, and fourth round of 2023-2024.
In the women’s division, Hyundai Engineering & Construction setter Kim Da-in won the MVP honor by winning 12 votes (Silva 8 votes, Yang Hyo-jin 6 votes, Moma 3 votes, Wipawi and Abercrombie 1 vote each).
With an average set success rate of 13.27 sets per set and a set success rate of 45.98 percent during the fourth round, Kim Da-in ranked No. 1 with an even distribution of balls. She enjoyed the joy of winning the MVP award in the first round as an individual by leading the team’s fourth-round victory.
The fourth round MVP award will be held on February 2 at Sangnoksu Gymnasium in Ansan (OK Financial Group vs. Hyundai Capital), while the women’s will be held at Suwon Indoor Gymnasium (Hyundai Construction vs. Pepper Savings Bank) on January 31.
