KT Wiz foreign-born pitcher William Cuevas showed off his power in his first bullpen pitch upon joining spring training.

Cuevas threw his first bullpen pitch after joining spring training at Hyundai Motor Dream Ball Park in Gijang-gun, Busan, on Saturday. He threw 13 pitches, mixing fastballs and changeups, and touched the high 140s with his fastball.

“We have a lot of good starting pitchers,” he said. It could be Benjamin, it could be me, it could be another pitcher. I think it’s a game where everybody has to pitch their best.”
