“That’s not it. I didn’t see you.”

Korean Air won the set score 3-1 (16-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-23) in the men’s third round of the 2023-2024 Dodram V League at Suwon Gymnasium on the 13th.

Having escaped three consecutive losses, Korean Air beat Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance with nine wins, six losses and 28 points to rise to second place. Having failed to secure eight consecutive wins, Korea Electric Power Corp. ranked fourth with eight wins, seven losses and 24 points.

Korean Air’s Kim Kyu-min, who returned to his court after greeting the opposing team’s players before the match, was waiting for Lim Sung-jin of KEPCO in the middle of the court.

Lim looked elsewhere, however. When Kim Gyu-min called him “Sungjin,” in a low-toned voice, Lim gave a 90-degree folder greeting to Kim Gyu-min.

When Kim Kyu-min said, “Can I just pass by after seeing my senior?” Lim Sung-jin said, “I didn’t see you while talking to other colleagues,” and hurriedly corrected his posture politely.

Kim Gyu-min grabbed Lim’s shoulder and gradually brought his face closer to him, playing pranks. Then, as they became closer to a certain extent, the two smiled broadly, unable to hold back their laughter. Kim and Lim parted ways, patting each other on the shoulder to say “fighting.”

In the game, Korean Air led the team to victory with 23 points, including Lim Dong-hyuk blocking and one serve, and 19 points, including four serve aces.
