Liverpool have found the defender they were looking for.

“Liverpool have set a transfer fee of €70 million for Gonçalo Inácio (22, Sporting),” the English outlet CutOffside reported on Friday.

Signing a defender is one of Liverpool‘s biggest needs. While Virgil van Dijk remains at the top of his game, there are those who say he lacks a partner to play alongside him.

Ibrahima Konate has shown promise but is injury prone. Joel Matip and Joe Gomez are not quite up to the task of being a regular starter.

The Reds have now turned their attention to a new signing, and according to reports, Liverpool are in talks to sign Inacio ahead of the January transfer window.

Inaciu is a highly touted prospect for Sporting. He’s a defender with solid defensive and build-up skills who is on a steep rise.

He is said to be a perfect fit for Jürgen Klopp’s tactics. “Ingsiu can play as a left fullback as well as a center 안전놀이터 back. His versatility will be a bonus for Liverpool.”

That’s not all. Iniesta can play in the back three or back four. He would add flexibility to Klopp’s tendency to customize his tactics depending on the opponent.
