The ‘BNK Busan Bank 2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships’, the world’s most prestigious tournament in table tennis, will be held at BEXCO in Haeundae from the 16th to the 25th.According to Busan City on Friday, the tournament, hosted by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and organized by the 2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships Organizing Committee, will feature more than 2,000 athletes from 47 countries .The World Table Tennis Championships were first held in London, England, in 1926 and have been held 65 times since then. The 40 nations will be divided into eight men’s and eight women’s groups of five nations each and will compete in a group qualification league, followed by a round-of-24 tournament for the top three in each group.
