South Korean casino operator Paradise Company Limited reported its financial results for August, reporting a 2% year-on-year decline in total sales to about $46.1 million.
Revenue at Seoul-listed companies fell more than 17 percent month-on-month in the 31-day period, disclosed in an official filing Monday, after the operator posted a similar 8.4 percent decline during the same month of 2017, according to a report by GGRAsia.

GGRASIA reported that the operator’s August table game revenue deteriorated 1.1% year-on-year to slightly above $43 million, while monthly revenue from slots fell about 13.3% to about $3.1 million. Conversely, Paradise Company Limited rose 65.5% to about $3.6 million in this latter category.
The Seoul-based operator saw total casino revenue rise 19.7% year-on-year to $367 million in the January-August period, thanks to revenue from table games and slots rising 19.9% and 16.7% to $341.5 million and $25.4 million, respectively.
