Adrian Meronk (Poland) was selected as the DP World Tour Player of the Year for the 2023 season on the 17th (Korean time).This is the first time for a Polish player.DP World Tour selects the player of the year through player voting.Meronk beat Rory McIlroy (Ireland) with 38% of the support.Nikolai Hougor (Denmark) and Viktor Hovland (Norway) followed.

Meronk won three times last year and was ranked fourth in the Race to Dubai.Meronk said, “To be honest, I was very surprised because I didn’t expect it. I can’t believe I was ahead of prominent players (in voting),” and added, “Many of my fellow players recognized my performance last year.”Starting this year, Meronk plans to receive a PGA Tour card and participate in the DP World Tour in parallel.Meronk, who graduated from East Tennessee State University in the United States, participated in the 슬롯게이밍 PGA Tour 11 times last year.
