LEE KANG-IN NAMED TO FRENCH LIGUE 1 BEST 11 FOR SECOND WEEK IN A ROW

The future of Korean soccer, Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain), has been named to the Ligue 1 Best 11 for the second consecutive week .The Ligue 1 secretariat announced the list of the best 11 players for the 11th round of the 2023-2024 season on its official Instagram account on Aug. 8 (local time).After being named to the Best 11 for the first time since joining Ligue 1 in the 10th round, Lee was recognized for his performance in this round as well. Lee, who was selected as a midfielder in the previous round, was selected as a left-sided striker in a 4-3-3 formation, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe on the right flank and LOSC Lille’s Mohamed Bayo up front. In addition to Lee and Mbappe, PSG also featured Warren Zairemeri- Vitinha in midfield and Ashraf Hakimi and Nordy Moukiele at fullback.

In addition, PSG’s ‘tomboy’ Markinus was named the best central defender of the round. After providing his first assist since joining PSG in a 3-2 win over Brest in Round 10, Lee scored his first league goal with a cool left-footed strike in a 3-0 win over Montpellier in Round 11. In the 10th minute, Ashraf Hakimi’s low cross from the right flank was flicked on by Mbappe, who then flicked it back to Lee .With the ball unguarded in front of the penalty area, Lee found himself unmarked and unleashed a powerful left-footed strike into the top corner of the net. Lee showed off his sharpened attacking instincts against AC Milan (Italy) in Group F of the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League (UCL) on Aug. 8, when he was grounded in the 15th minute and then struck the post with a sharp left-footed shot in the 44th minute. Lee will look 토토 to make it three consecutive league games with an attacking point when he travels to Stade Reims on Nov. 12 at 1 a.m. KST.
