EPL’S #2 SCORER SON HEUNG-MIN VS #6 HWANG HEE-CHAN MEETS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON ON NOVEMBER 11TH

South Korean international strikers Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur) and Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton) will meet for the first time all season this weekend .Son’s Tottenham will take on Hwang’s Wolverhampton in the 12th round of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) away fixture at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, England on Nov. 11 at 9:30 p.m. ET. This will be the first time the two teams will meet in the 2023-2024 season Son Heung-min has been on fire lately, scoring five goals in his last six regular-season games. Starting with a multi-goal outburst against Arsenal on Sept. 24 and ending with an away goal against Crystal Palace on Sept. 27, he scored five goals in five games. After winning four and drawing one in that span, Spurs lost 1-4 at home to Chelsea on Sept. 6 in a game that saw two men sent off. In that game, Son rattled the net once, heading home a low cross from Brennan Johnson in the 13th minute .Unfortunately, the goal was narrowly ruled offside after video assistant referee (VAR) review, but it shows that Son’s eye for goal has never been sharper .With eight goals this season, Son is tied with Muhammad Salah (Liverpool) for second in the EPL in goals scored behind Elling Holland (Manchester City-11).Tottenham (8 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss – 26 points), whose momentum was derailed by the blowout loss to Chelsea, will need to bounce back against Wolverhampton to stay in contention with Manchester City (27 points), Liverpool and Arsenal (24 points or more). With key midfielders, center backs James Maddison and Micky Vander Vaal all injured against Chelsea, it’s even more urgent to turn things around. Opposite South Korean international captain Son Heung-min, Hwang Hee-chan is in the midst of his best form since joining the EPL.

With six goals in 11 games, Hwang is tied for sixth on the EPL’s goalscoring list, alongside Alexander Isaac (Newcastle) and Brian Mbewumo (Brentford). In Wolverhampton’s last match, a 1-2 loss away to Sheffield Wednesday on May 5, Hwang picked up an assist and an offensive point. With a point in his last six official games, Hwang has been one of Wolverhampton’s sharpest spears this season. With seven goals in all competitions, only Sasha Kalajic (three) has scored more than Hwang. Led by Hwang’s three goals and two assists in his last five regular-season games, Wolverhampton (3W, 3D, 5L, 12pts) have shaken off their early-season slump, picking up two wins, two draws and one defeat in that span. When Hwang Hee-chan was called up to train at the National Training Center (NFC) in Paju on March 10, he told reporters that he hopes to continue his upward trend alongside Son Heung-min.” I think I’m doing what I need to do, and I think Heung-min can be helpful to him,” Hwang said at the time. “He’s going to do his best and try to score the most goals, but I’m also going to try to score the most goals in my career.” The pair were called up by national team coach Jürgen Klinsmann again ahead of the November A-match (inter-national team matches).Klinsmann’s side will kick off the second round of qualifying against Singapore at 8 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, before facing China away at 9 p.m. on Nov. 21 in Shenzhen, China. Once again, Son Heung-min and Hwang Hee-chan are expected to spearhead Klinsmann’s offense. Of course, they are not the only European players on the Klinsmann’s roster who have been on fire lately. The “future of Korean soccer” Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain), who has recorded an assist and a goal in his last two French Ligue 1 matches, is set to face Stade Reims at 1 a.m. on Dec. 12.Frontline striker Cho Kyu-sung (Mitwylan) will also look to carry the momentum of his league-leading sixth 바카라사이트 goal away to Hvidovre on Nov. 6 into the match against Nordsjellan, which kicks off at midnight on Nov. 13.
