Defending professional baseball champion LG Twins won the opening game of the 2024 KBO League exhibition game, confirming the high-level skills of new ace Dietrick Ens (32).

LG won 5-2 in a visiting exhibition match against KT held at KT Wiz Park in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do on the 9th.

LG took the lead in the top of the second inning with leadoff hitter Austin Dean’s left-field solo home run.Austin attacked KT starting pitcher Cho Yi-hyun’s curveball and made a cool hit.

In the third inning, leadoff hitter Koo Bon-hyuk’s infield hit to third base, Park Hae-min’s walk, and Hong Chang-gi’s infield grounder put second and third bases on the board with one out, then changed pitcher Jeon Jeon-ju’s wild pitch, and Koo Bon-hyuk homered to take a 2-0 lead.
