Many might have noticed the recent entertainment announcements. Some pretty big things have been underway over at this casino. This week they opened the doors to the newly revamped Luxe Restaurant and Buffet. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this eatery is ready to satisfy the palates of gamers and those wanting some great fare.
South Florida has seen a rise in the gaming industry within the recent years. With other pari-mutuels in town, The Casino @ Dania Beach is the newest casino venue in Broward County. With that said, ownership has taken great pride in facilitating an adult playground ready to meet guests’ greatest expectations. They’ve successfully created a beautiful space that will now be even better.
The announcement of the relaunch of Luxe Restaurant and Buffet comes during a time where the property is close to approaching an anniversary in early 2019. Once onboard earlier this year, General Manager Arnaldo Suarez began (along with his new team), adding new nightly entertainment programming to large concerts and revamped dining options.
This all-star team, of accomplished senior management level professionals, was selected to join the casino staff based on very diverse backgrounds. Each have come together to elevate the guest experience in all areas including heavy emphasis on food and beverage.
Open three days on the second level of the property, Luxe Restaurant and Buffet welcomes Chef Johnny Alarcon Ruiz. Born in Lima, Peru, the chef comes from a long lineage of excellent cooks. Well-traveled, Ruiz developed his passion for cooking in Panama, where he attended Laureate International University (UIP), certified with the seal of the Blue Cord. There, he had residencies in the best hotels and restaurants.
Having honed his craft, he worked at the Ocean Sun Casino (the most luxurious casino in Central America) and had the opportunity to open four restaurants. Chef Alarcon Ruiz has a colorful array of accolades, which include being a culinary professor. Guests can now enjoy the carefully curated options he has selected for Luxe that will likely please the taste buds.
Featuring such items as paella, fresh seafood,a carving station, delectable desserts, a varied wine list and after dinner cordials, Luxe (in its new incarnation) offers a unique dining experience, for the patron wanting a diverse menu. Cost of buffet is $29.95 on Fridays and Saturdays and $24.95 for Champagne Sunday brunch with tax and gratuity not included. Kids 12 and under can enjoy these menus for $12.
“We are pleased to be opening the doors of our newly relaunched Luxe Restaurant with an incredible Executive Chef on board. Guests have seen the rest and want to invite them to come and try the best. We have slowly added new elements for them to enjoy with more to come in 2019,” stated Suarez.
