2023-24 PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

The Hotshots are coming off a 99-72 demolition of the NLEX Road Warriors last week for their fifth straight win in as many games in Season 48.

Magnolia will look to add the reeling Blackwater to its growing list of victims this season when both squads collide at 8 p.m.

Coach Chito Victolero has said time and again that critical to the team’s success is how to start strong and more importantly, sustain it till the end.

In the game against NLEX, Magnolia felt the effects of a long 14-day break that saw the team engage in a neck-and-neck affair with the Road Warriors.
The good thing is, veteran guards Jio Jalalon and Mark Barroca connived in a strong third quarter attack to turn a tight contest into a lopsided match.

The Hotshots will be facing a Bossing side that has lost its last five games since opening the season with a 103-84 rout of the Converge FiberXers.

Meanwhile, NorthPort will be shooting for its fourth win in six starts when the team collides with winless Converge at 4 p.m.

The Batang Pier snapped a two-game skid after outlasting the TNT Tropang Giga 128-123 in overtime last week.

Arvin Tolentino along with energetic rookies Fran Yu and Cade Flores are expected to serve as Australian import Venky Jois’ solid supporting cast against the FiberXers, who are the only remaining winless squad this season at 0-5.
